Thank you for visiting my site! My name is Amanda, and I am the owner of Bipper's Sprinkled Sweets. Baking has always been something I've enjoyed. In 2020, I began baking more for family and friends. After ten years in Phlebotomy and years of waitressing since my teenage years, my husband, who is in the military, and I were stationed in Okinawa, Japan, in 2021. With limited job options, I dedicated my time in Okinawa to being a stay-at-home mom and honing my skills as a baker, which led to the creation of my Okinawa bakery. Starting any new adventure can be intimidating, and for some time, I found myself waiting for the 'right time.' However, I've learned that there's never a perfect moment for anything. In the military community, where moves and changes are frequent, adaptability is essential, and baking is a skill that I can carry with me wherever we go. In 2024, we were stationed in San Diego, CA. That’s when I decided it was time to take the big step and turn my dream into reality.
